Crafted from an authentic vintage carriage blanket dating between 1890 and 1930, Moonlit Petals is a one-of-a-kind heirloom creation from Nomadic Reign Couture—where historic textile artistry meets romantic, modern couture.
At the heart of the back motif rests a deep midnight cerulean medallion, encircled by blossoms in layered pink tones—from raspberry blush at the top to soft rosewater near the bottom. The composition is framed by florals in gentle shades of magnolia and pale ivory, creating a luminous botanical halo.
The design continues across the front of the coat, where the same tan and ivory petaled flowers found at the top and bottom of the back motif bloom again, tying the entire piece into a single flowing narrative.
The coat closes with an authentic Edwardian clasp, handcrafted of Czech glass circa 1920, adding a touch of antique sparkle and period charm.
The collar and hemline are trimmed in luxurious long alabaster Mongolian lambswool, lending soft movement and a wintry glow. The sleeves are rendered in rich black cloth and finished with cuffs of pink crushed velvet, offering a romantic textural contrast.
Two discreet silk-lined pockets add refinement and utility. Inside, the front panels and bottom edge are trimmed in sumptuous cerise velvet, complementing the exterior palette. The lining is a striped silk in shades of ivory and petal, finished with woven tassels in tones of warm oat and ivory—a faithful nod to the craftsmanship of bygone eras.
